What stands out most is how the menu mirrors this approachable spirit—offering a mix of classic diner staples with subtle, fresh twists. Whether it’s the crispness of a watermelon's sweetness in a salad brightened by mint, or the comforting richness of golden chicken and waffles, each plate carries a quiet attention to detail. The same goes for the range of natural juices, which bring an unexpected freshness that pairs just right with the rich and hearty aspects of the fare. We were staying at a hotel down the street and decided to try Jey based on their reviews. We were pleasantly surprised that the reviews matched our experience. We had dinner there one night and breakfast a couple of days later. Jey Diner is an example of a family run restaurant that values quality and service. The food is fresh and well prepared with a good eye for presentation. The omelet was moist, filled with veggies and the roasted potatoes were flavorful. The salad was crisp, with a tasty light dressing. The value is exceptional.

Incredibly delicious ribeye medium rare steak with mashed potatoes. I still don’t understand why there isn’t a line out the door at this place. Highly, highly, highly recommend it!

What a great authentic place! We had a late breakfast here and were positively surprised. Everything was well seasoned and the service was incredibly nice if we come back to this area we would be back to try their pancakes!

I stopped in this cute, unassuming little diner for the first time today for a quick breakfast after seeing a posting about this place on Instagram. I was greeted warmly by the waitstaff as soon as I entered. In spite of the place being as small as it is, they have a pretty large menu with a variety of different options, and the prices seem rather reasonable, in my opinion. The food is presented very well on fancy plastic plates, and I was surprised that they serve coffee in paper cups to go. I ordered the omelette with spinach, mushrooms, and onions, and I must say that this, along with the home fries served with the order, were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tables and chairs might seem a bit mismatched and/or a bit worn, but the establishment is very clean. I was very happy with my first experience, and I will be sure to stop in again in the future.

We live in the neighborhood, but somehow have never managed to try it. But today we had our dog with us and needed to find a place to go while we waited for work in our apartment to get done so we headed over. We ordered the fries, which were amazing, crispy, and seasoned along with four delicious sauces. We also had chocolate chip pancakes and huevos rancheros. All so tasty. And even beautifully plated. I actually can't name another diner that puts so much effort into plating. The service was warm, friendly and efficient. Don't let the small size and unassuming storefront fool you - this is a great diner. We will be coming back for sure!

Stopped by in the afternoon—food was great! Had the pork chops with rice and beans, really tasty. Service was friendly too. Definitely a good spot to grab a meal.

The food was absolutely delicious.. I had a FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH and it was absolutely amazing. My girl ordered FRENCH TOAST and it was absolutely amazing. The ONION RINGS were delicious as well. Even the basic coffees we ordered were very good. Eddie who works the front, is a great host and his energy is high. I'll definitely be back. Support this place, it's GREAT!!!

The place seemed really small to have such a diverse menu. We both landed on pasta. It was really good, but the bread was the star. The staff were friendly and we felt welcome. The thing I really liked was the steady parade of neighborhood regulars who came to eat or get take out while we were there. They clearly had what it took to back up all those choices, and it shows the quality when people keep coming back.
